Summer-bucket-list

Here in the south of England, the summer has finally arrived! There’s been a mini heat wave and the smell of suntan lotion and BBQ’s is lingering in the air. Children (and let’s face it all teachers) are counting down the days until the loooong summer break.

For parents of young children, it’s a  slightly different story! Now don’t get me wrong, I’m looking forward to spending lots of gloriously sunny, fun-filled days with my son. I really am. I can’t wait to make those magical memories, I promise.

BUT…. It’s just that, well, 6 weeks is a really long time to keep kids happy and entertained, isn’t it?

You know, without slightly losing your sanity or going bankrupt in the process. Not to mention all the things that still need to get done around the house!

Enter the summer bucket list.

AKA my summer time saviour – and yours too if you like? It’s a handy, free to download list of 50 fun things to do with the kids this summer. No more racking your brains for what to do each day, just print and stick it on your fridge. It’ll be there waiting for you any time you’re in need of a little inspiration.

Quite often we forget about the simplest things in life. I particularly like number 31 and 36, definitely trying both, or actually few more, thanks Caroline 🙂

Thanks! I’m looking forward to 36 – I’m going to let J think of it himself so it should be interesting.
