Disclaimer and privacy policy

Ah, here comes the boring bit I’m afraid. I’m obliged to tell you that I will try my absolute best to ensure that all information and links on this website are accurate and up-to-date, but there may be a few occasions when this isn’t the case and I apologise in advance for this. If you do find any inaccuracies or silly typos that bug the hell out of you, be a pal and let me know, I’ll be sure to change it pronto!

Copyright

Unless otherwise stated, I am the legal copyright holder for all material on this blog and if you would like to use, reprint, modify or publish (which would be blooming amazing of course) then my written consent is required, just drop me a line on the contact page. Please always include a link back to www.girlabouttownhouse.com on any content, article or artwork.

Sponsorship and affiliate links

All views expressed on this blog are my own and I promise to always be honest and transparent when it comes to any sponsorship or affiliate links. Affiliate links may be used in some articles, which means that, at no cost to you, I provide links to products which I genuinely recommend and if you happen to make a purchase then I will gain a small commission. You get a handy link to the product you’re after and I get a few pennies to put towards running this awesome blog, so win win! I will only ever work with brands that I feel are relevant to my audience and trustworthy.

Mailing list

Please be assured that if you subscribe to my mailing list (and you really should for some rather smashing free printable art and dry humoured emails) your details will never EVER be shared with anyone. Spam sucks and I just wouldn’t do that to you, so it’s totally safe to sign up.

Privacy policy

As previously expressed, your privacy, safety and transparency in the data I collect is of utmost importance at Girl about townhouse. So here’s a little more detail on the how, what and why.

Mailing list

When you sign up for our townhouse VIP list you are giving permission for your details to be safely stored via mailchimp, so that when I add more awesome free stuff to the printable gallery or write a blog post I think you’ll like, I can let you know.

This information will never be shared with anyone, EVER. You have my word.

You have the right to withdraw this permission any time the mood should take you. Simply hit unsubscribe at the bottom of any email I’ve sent you or drop me a line via the contact from here.

If you can’t get enough of privacy policies and you’d like to read Mailchimps too, go right ahead.

Google analytics

For a statistics nerd like me, google analytics = heaven. It literally blows my mind! It uses information such as internet log information and visitor behaviour patterns to enable me to track things like number of visitors to the site, country my readers come from, which blog posts are the most popular.

Details like this are so important, they help shape the content that I produce to make sure it’s the stuff you’ll love.

Cookie Policy

No, not the chocolate chip one’s unfortunately. Although now I really want one. This website uses cookies (tiny files stored on your computer to ‘remember’ your visit).

Some cookies are to enhance the performance of the website and your experience when visiting. For example, if you leave me a comment, it’ll remember your details for next time – like magic.

By using this website you give permission for our cookies to be stored on your device. If you don’t agree you’ll need to close this website, clear your cache in your web browser, quit your browser and then select disallow cookies in your browser settings and all will be right with the world.

Phew, well I think that just about covers everything and if you are still reading, serious brownie points to you! You absolute legend.
